Giuliano Di Ienno is a passionate musician and educator whose contributions to the music community have made a lasting impact. Originally from Civitella Messer Raimondo, Abruzzo, Italy, he holds a Master of Music (2015) and a Bachelor of Music (2013) in Saxophone from the Conservatorium of Music "Luisa D'Annunzio" in Pescara, Italy. His education was further enriched by participating in numerous international saxophone masterclasses with renowned instructors, honing his technical skills and artistic perspective.
Giuliano's commitment to music education led him to found the "Amici della Musica" music school in Civitella Messer Raimondo, where he served as artistic director and conducted a marching and concert band from 2007 to 2015. His teaching experience includes various roles, demonstrating his dedication to nurturing the next generation of musicians.
Since relocating to Melbourne, Australia, in late 2015, Giuliano has made significant contributions to the local music scene. He is currently the music director of several ensembles, including:

He also works at Brunswick South Primary School and performs as a freelance musician and conductor.
Giuliano's performance credentials are extensive, featuring solo appearances with piano, woodwind, and symphony orchestras, as well as participation in various chamber music groups and bands. His accolades include first-place finishes in several national and international competitions.
One of his most significant performances was conducting the "Amici della Musica" Concert Band during a General Audience with Pope Benedict XVI in St. Peter's Square. He has also performed with the Opera Saxophone Quartet on Italy's RAI 1 TV channel, where they had the honour of performing in front of the legendary composer Ennio Morricone.
In addition to his roles as a performer and educator, Giuliano has participated in prestigious ensembles, showcasing his versatility and dedication to music across genres and formats. He is passionate about inspiring others through music and continues to explore new artistic avenues.
